Resource Centre
The Resource Centre or The PFI Library is a rich resource on demography, health and gender issues.
The centre has a huge collection of books, surveys, reports, journals and other literature. It covers themes on Population, Population Policy, Women and Development, Family Planning, Contraceptives, Reproductive and Child Health, Maternal Health, Adolescence, HIV/AIDS, Female Foeticide, Panchayati Raj, Demography and Health. Bound journals such as Reproductive Health Matters, Demography, Studies in Family Planning, Population & Development Review, Economic & Political Weekly, Population Studies, Seminar and Asia Pacific Journal are also available.
The Resource Centre has an archive of important development, health surveys and reports. These include-

- Census of India reports
- Sample Registration System publications
- UN reports
- National Family Health Survey-1, -2, -3,
- Reproductive and Child Health -I, -II,
- District Level Household & Facility Survey
Work is underway to digitize existing publications and to list them in a systematic way leading to e-library, which can then be linked to the web.
Audio-visual materials
A huge collection of DVDs, CDs, audio cassettes and tapes on Population, Family Welfare, Female Foeticide, HIV/AIDS, Reproductive Health and Adolescents, Community Monitoring, and Panchayats are available.
Publications
Over the years, we have brought out a large number of publications, ranging from training manuals for NGOs, district and state profiles, research, documentation of promising practices and models, to documentation of corporate engagement in the health sector.
