Programme Development and Management
We collaborate with Central, state and local government institutions for effective planning and formulation of programmes and policies aimed at bringing about sustainable development.
PFI has been the Regional Resource Centre (RRC) for the states of Bihar and Chhattisgarh for building the capacities of Mother NGOs and Field NGOs under the RCH programme of the Government of India for the last five years.
We work at -
- Mainstreaming gender and rights-based perspectives in programme formulation and implementation
- Developing inclusive models with a focus on decentralization, participation, transparency, accountability and stability
- Integrating scalability aspects at the conceptualization stage
- Demonstrating models aimed at increasing participation of men in RCH, Safe Motherhood and Women and Adolescent Empowerment.
We have evolved strong internal and external control mechanisms and guidelines for efficient financial management of internal and external grants. A Manual on Accounting has been developed to help NGOs maintain project accounts efficiently and correctly.
We have developed a comprehensive module to help corporates design and implement programmes focused on RCH, HIV-AIDS and ARSH. We have worked with well-known corporate houses like JK, Ranbaxy and Tatas, in formulating and implementing RCH programmes. Over the last 40 years, PFI has successfully managed more than 300 partnerships.
